POSITION SUMMARY:

The position reports to the SVP, Client Services and will have direct reports overseeing an established account services team.

In this role, focused on client centricity and growth, you will have direct accountability for client relationships coupled with defined growth targets. The current team structure is as follows:

Your role requires you to work in a collaborative manner with other departments such as accounts, strategy and operations. You promote a culture of pro-activity, innovation, transparency and you have a desire to inspire, mentor and coach others.

The expectation is growth, therefore you will bring with you a long history of hunting and mining new business to meet aggressive agency growth targets. In this hands-on role, you will orchestrate, lead, write, oversee, steer all new business activity proactively leading and keeping the senior team apprised of your pursuit strategy, status and opportunity pipeline. This is a hands-on role.

DESIRED PROFILE:

Senior level (VP), either tenured or newly minted. Looking to establish himself/herself as a critical component of the Diamond team. This is a growth role.

  • Strong business acumen
    • Understanding of how marketing (not advertising) solves/drives business outcomes
    • Been there done it for developing marketing strategies that work (strong business KPIs)
    • Understanding how to derive revenue from digital
    • Experience working with marketing technologies (which to use and when based on objectives and strategies)
    • Hands-on experience working through the marketing funnel, pressing the various stages for outcomes
    • Ability to derive insights from data, extrapolation of insights from reports and translating into actionable deliverables
    • Many years in a client-side environment ideally where lifecycle marketing (data and models are at the core) was key to success:
      • FI
      • Auto
      • Telco
      • NOT CPG
      • NOT FMCG
  • Consulting pedigree
    • Ideally some consulting experience
    • Veteran experience in writing strong strategy, white papers, pitch decks, build pocs and motivate/convince clients to buy
  • Agency experience
